Christian persecution has been tracked to be on the rise. This map shows hotspots of increasing violence against Christians with noted evidence in places such as Nigeria, Iran, Iraq, India, and China.

The map uses big data from the GDELT Project which monitors local media around the world and live-translates it from 65 languages, along with Google’s BigQuery and Carto mapping software to visualize potential locations of persecution of Christians around the world.
